Figure I'd give it a shot.

It's a grenaaaaaaaaaaaade!

For those that might not catch the reference, "Top Secret" is a sleeper of a parody movie. Val Kilmer ripped it. Here's some fun from that flick:
Mad pokin' fun at the Swedes.
So shoes were ordered and both came today. Exactly what I needed. I thought about saving some of that refund, but I figured I haven't really treated myself in a bit, so why not.
So the bandwagon's on at work. Our sales director is even after me to get my licensing done. Driving me crazy. I don't need much more to do, even though some more sales would be nice, but that's always the case. I could always do more. I know I have to get it, I know it, but damn, I just don't have that concentration right now. At least tonight, I'll say that. Tomorrow's it. For those that read, please check up on me and make sure I'm somewhat hittin' the books. It's college all over again, but with more studying.
I damn near forgot about this track, even though it's been on my ipod forever. "What is there to talk about? / You was just frontin, now it ain't nuttin / Ain't that somethin?"

"Watchmen" was a snoozefest
Sorry for all you hurts out there, but it's true. I can't remember the last movie I walked out on prior to this one, if there even was any. It couldn't have moved any slower if it tried. I know that I saw this at 10:30 at night. I know it was a 3 hour movie. But shit, I also know that if I had seen this at 1:00 pm, wide awake, I still would've fallen asleep. I think I was out for like 15 mins and missed a fair amount of stuff. And by that time, I didn't want to listen to that stuff anymore. It felt as someone was reading the comic book to me.
Sadly, my comic book hat was on in full force and it made me think, who would win? Mr. Manhattan vs. Silver Surfer?
And finally, things will calm down at work this week. Today's going to be a chill day of cleaning house, shopping and shooting. Wade's hopefully going to come through on these today:

So due to some popular demand, I'm back
And by popular, I mean two people. However, one of which is close to me, the other is in another country, so therefore, I'm international. Buggin'? I think not!
For those that know, you know the intro. For those that don't, it's only for the opening of Chuck D's rhyme in the first verse. Alas, I am not a rhyme animal.
I'm back and I gotta admit, it feels good. I guess Facebook took over for a while and I forgot my roots. The advantage of the instant updates as to what I'm doing and with whom, or whom I'm doing kinda end up taking precedence over a long drawn out Blog.
Most of you know, I've found a new full-time hobby:

And I couldn't be happier. No the barrel isn't broken, it sits up like that when cocked back. I completed my conceal carry permit safety course with Rob Ivery last Saturday. Mad props to him, those in VA reading this and you're considering getting this, he comes HIGHLY recommended and knows his shit. So that paperwork is getting filed in the coming weeks. And my shooting time will be increased as I already have time planned to go a few times this week and to keep that habit up. It adds up, but I think I'll sorta be saving in the long run, it's not that spendy, so long as you bandwagon fuckers don't keep driving up the price of 9mm ammo!
So speaking of the coming weeks. I volunteered myself at work, for something, but it's basically what I needed. My boss keeps harping about me getting my life insurance license. I know I HAVE to get it, but I've been slackin'. I failed the test last year, but now I have until the end of this month to get it. Damn, just damn. But my shit is on the line, not my job at least, but basically my future. So over the next 4 weeks, if I don't talk to you at night, don't be offended. I'm focusing on bettering myself. Hard, because I'm not a selfish person. :o
And now I leave you with this, some good studying music, at least for me. It just came on Top Gear a few minutes ago. I heart me some Shadow, and will so this month while studying. Thanks again yall.

Any early Christmas, and why Fort is money

Feels good man.
Fort came through big time with some kicks. I know he hated to part w/ them, but as soon as I saw them I had to hop on them. Trust me man, they'll be put to good use. I'm even shook to wear them they're so fly. Even better is that Rocio hates them. :o
And grenade candles? 'Nuff said.
Lastly, one of my clients gave me an early Christmas gift. They hooked it w/ a Polo button down last year and then now a nice Nautica jacket and polo style shirt. I don't even wear Nautica like that anymore, but damn, they are just two nice pieces of clothing. Course, we're coming up on 13 years past the time that Nautica became the new hotness, so chances are it'll be back around soon. Either way, I'm rockin' both come the Spring.
I got ahold of the Hackers soundtrack the other day and remembered one of my favorite techno tracks from back when. And which I didn't even snap until afterwards, it was on the Mortal Kombat soundtrack as well I feel that most will agree it's a dope track:

iPhone Review
As most of you know, I copped an iPhone on Black Fridee (of all days). Here is my unofficial review. It's mostly for Wade, but I was going to do this anyway. Here's your tour of a glimpse of the Dark Side:
Cons: Always take the bad news first
- No good vibrate feature. I'm huge on this because I hate ringtones or any stock rings that come with phones. It only vibrates twice, not continually during the called received or the text. Motorola phones were DOPE at this and I got spoiled. And it's a rather weak vibrate.
- Battery. This is somewhat contrived because on phones like these, you're always on them. Calls, texts, games, other apps, etc. They'll all drain the battery. If I continually fuck around w/ it all day, it'll be dead by the end of the day (keep in mind though, this happened to me after almost a 24 hour period).
- Bluetooth. This phone wasn't pre-programmed with any voice dialing software, and I can't find any to add. This isn't that big a deal, but it's nice to be able to tell the phone to call someone. Again, something I got hooked on w/ VZW and Motorola.
- Customization. This can be fixed, but I wish you could just set up icon sets w/o having to jailbreak the phone. Or even change the regular background, and not just the unlock screen. Fort showed me what is capable w/ breaking the phone open and I'm jealous as fuck.
- Stability. This is debatable. I expected SOME issues, only because it really is a computer, and if you put somewhat sketchy software on a computer you're going to run into issues. This has only happened once, however, I'll have patience and keep it moving.
- Video. None. Somewhat of an issue, I took 4 videos w/ my phone before this one in a 2 year time span. Doubtful I'll miss it, however, it would be cool to take a video and then upload it directly to YouTube.
Pros: Told you it's worth the wait
- Seamlessness. I'm now a Crapple person, therefore this was a no brainer. But take this one w/ a grain of salt if you don't own a Mac.
- Userfriendliness. It's a simple phone, like REAL simple. The interface is top notch to me, especially the touchscreen. Lots of people don't like this and I can't figure out why. Adding contacts, editing, adding applications, it's all simple as hell. And Apple didn't let AT&T botch the OS with a bunch of shit that Verizon would have. WTF do I need "Get It Now" when I can get anything through iTunes, 3G and WiFi?
- WiFi. Now I understand why people like this so much. When I'm here at the house, it's always connected to my network. I get apps quicker, check Facebook, etc. all w/ similar speeds of my laptop. Only thing that slows it down is the processor, however, we're comparing a 5" "computer" with a laptop here.
- Applications. This stuff just takes the phone to another level. There are so many things out there that I don't know what to download. All I do is read about what's what and then play around w/ whatever I put on the phone. It's a must for bathroom trips now
That's all that has come to mind as of now. I haven't had any service issues yet, which is good, but I am somewhat expecting them. I'm in a new "free" circle, but that's what texts are for. So Shad, Wade, New Michelle, and everyone else that's on VZW, you'll be getting texts from me more frequently. It's a win/win situation.
Hope this helps to those that are reading, even though it's pretty much directed at one person, haha.
Someone dropped a reference to this on SOHH today and had me in tears:
