Coldplay and Lil Wayne :ugh:

For the life of me, I cannot find the attraction to either of these acts.

I had always heard of Coldplay, but never any of their music. I kept getting them mixed up with Coldcut, which is two DJ's on the Ninja Tune label (more on that later). But, I saw and heard them for the first time last week on the Today show. Holy mother of suck. I don't know if it's a trend thing or what, but damn, next to Jay-Z these guys were the most uninspired performance I had ever seen. It's almost quasi-emo rock or something, but blah, I hope their time passes soon.

I don't care how much success in life you've attained, if anyone has a facial tattoo, they've lost. Lil Wayne could stand to go back to his original days. He wasn't even that good bad then and super nasil, however, he's worse now. People go around claiming he's this, that and the other, however, I cannot find his greatness. Course, this goes for most things these days. I'm sorry to keep harping on the same stuff, but it's usually on my mind.

Speaking of Coldcut for those that don't know:

Bear with the weird intro, but give it to the 1:00 mark. The beat finally drops and you hear some good shit. An ill snare and drum bass filled basic beat. How hard is that to make these days anymore? Granted they love some electronic type recently, but still better.

This is a cool video and song. I highly recommend Roots Manuva. He's been called the European Ghostface Killah. It's fitting:

Sorry to be a song whore, but I'll leave you w/ some chill, beatnick stuff:
